Dear Coaches, Players & Parents,

I am looking to take a small team of area players to a Pre-Cadet (birth years 2004 & 2005) & Cadet (birth years 2001, 2002 & 2003) competition in France on 24^th & 25^th March 2018, travelling out on Friday 23^rd, returning Sunday 25^th. Pre-Cadets will compete Saturday 24^th March & Cadets on Sunday 25^th March.

Due to the standard of the competition that we are planning to attend we are putting a minimum competition experience criterion in place. Players wishing to be considered for this event must have competed at either the 2017 Pre-Cadet/Cadet British Championships or a Home Countries Pre-Cadet/Cadet Open (English, Scottish, Welsh or Northern Ireland) during 2017.

In addition to the above, players must have attended at least 60% of Area training sessions in 2017 – considerations will be made for players who advised they were unable to attend area training due to National training/squad requirements, illness or similar.

I am in the process of looking into various funding streams to support the cost of this trip & aim to seek financial support to cover as much as possible of the associated costs. Once this has been confirmed I will be able to advise the cost per player that will need to be picked by those competing.

Please note that completion of the form is at this stage is to register interest. We will confirm costs to selected players by Friday 16^th February at the latest.

Any player who completes the attached form but is not selected to be part of the travelling team will be given full reasons why & will be considered for future opportunities.
